Designer Set
The Hebrew Font Shuneet in seven weights packaged as the Designer Set. These seven weights were created by mathematical transformation starting from Medium. However after this, considerable changes needed to be made by hand to get a result acceptable to the eye. The heavier weights are the most difficult to design. This is a part of Genesis Chapter 1, Verse 2:
וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים מְרַחֶפֶת עַל פְּנֵי הַמָּיִם
The Hebrew reads:
V'ruach elohim m'rachefet al pnai hayam
which may be translated in a number of ways, for example:
"and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters",
"and a wind from God moved over the face of the deep",
"rushing-spirit of God hovering over the face of the waters".
Note that "wind" and "spirit" are the same word in Hebrew.
The Hebrew word translated as hovering is
"m'rahefet" which to me is
like the sound of wings.
