This song is a rather bitter view of a young woman's affair with someone called Itai.
I'm attracted by the way Keren Peles takes the kind of Hebrew spoken by young people in Israel
and intimately fits a melody to it. She does this in a number of her songs.
The song "Itay" was first released on her best-seller debut album called "If This Is Life" (2006).
